Introducing the AGSV-Beginner Framework for Secondary Students
My Music & Guitar Journey 2.0 introduces absolute beginners to our customised Acoustic Guitarist Secular Version-Beginner (AGSV-Beginner) syllabus, graded from Initial to Level 2. Students aged 13 to 17 (Form 1–5) possess the adult-level physical dexterity and finger length required to master advanced chord shapes and complex fretboard geometry rapidly, making the acoustic guitar the perfect, highly accessible One-Man-Band Instrument to pick up without prior experience.
Most importantly, this workshop tackles the deeper purpose of learning music during critical adolescent years. By mapping out their unique Music Identities, secondary students transition from passive listeners to active creators, defining personal goals that help them navigate their independent musical journeys.
